Sun Peaks resort is just amazing. The ideal place if you're looking for a relaxing holiday, but with amazing slopes. The snow is just perfect, the scenery is beautiful. The slopes are not crowded and the perfect place to learn how to ski for kids and adults, they have an excellent school. Lots of activities to do, and I especially recommend dog sledding. The more experts will find a lot to be sati…

Just wanted to let you know that we had a great holiday from start to finish. Katie who is now 6 enjoyed her first skiing lessons and is tackling parallel turns on blue runs (just started doing this). It’s a great place to learn (Big White especially) and the children's ski school is extremely safe with GPS trackers on the children at all times so even in the fog (yes there was plenty of that at B…

Very nice quiet town but with everything that you need in one place. Plenty of skiing and weather varied so you should get sun and snow too during your trip. Very nice Italian restaurant but it can be popular in holidays.

We spent 7 nights at Sun Peaks in March 2012 and we loved it. The village has a very alpine feel and is really pretty, with the centre pedestrianised which adds to the charm and makes the majority of accommodation ski-in/ski-out. The slopes were extensive and suited our intermediate level of skiing. We had a few dumps of snow during our stay meaning the majority of the time we were skiing on lovel…

No queues, long runs, family of 5 had mountain to ourselves many times... felt the lift operators were just there for us. As result skied it all in 4 sunny days during kids half term, but 5th day brought more snow so could ski it all again in snowy conditions.

I have recently returned from a fantastic skiing holiday in Sun Peaks, Canada where I went with my partner to celebrate his 40th birthday. Sun Peaks ski resort is a brilliant intermediate ski mountain with many long, crusing runs to enjoy with the odd mogul field thrown in. It is also a great resort for the beginners and has some challenging terrain for the more advanced especially Headwalls if yo…
