Sun Peaks is an absolute gem of a place and has to be Canada's best secret! The skiing is extensive with 3 mountains to explore and extremely quiet slopes that you have the long, wide cruisey runs often to yourselves

Sun Peaks as a resort is so very well thought out, pedestrianised and convenient. Majority of the hotels are ski /out with easy access to the lifts and the people are SO friendly. We will be returning soon.

Very nice quiet town but with everything that you need in one place. Plenty of skiing and weather varied so you should get sun and snow too during your trip. Very nice Italian restaurant but it can be popular in holidays.

We spent 7 nights at Sun Peaks in March 2012 and we loved it. The village has a very alpine feel and is really pretty, with the centre pedestrianised which adds to the charm and makes the majority of accommodation ski-in/ski-out. The slopes were extensive and suited our intermediate level of skiing. We had a few dumps of snow during our stay meaning the majority of the time we were skiing on lovel…
