We went at the right time so the snow was excellent. The village is relatively small so the resort is not crowded, but it has a good choice of restaurants etc for a week to 10 days holiday. A couple of the lifts are slow and/or old. There is a good variety of skiing available but there aren't many runs for beginners although this wasn't a problem for us.

Town of Sun Peaks quite small but that means that many hotels are essentially ski in ski out. Lots of snow, lovely powder at Mount Morrrissey, This is a good resort for intermediates.. If I had one criticism it is the lack of restaurants on the slopes, but having said that it is not too much of a problem as there are places to eat near the lifts at the bottom of the mountain.. One of the stando…

Great resort, small ski lift queues (sometimes none), friendly and efficient service and unbelievable snow both quantity and quality. We would go back any day. 9/10. A 9 only because we would have liked to eat at more than one place up the mountain, but we are really pulling at straws.

Smallish resort village. One grocery store only which charged ridiculously high prices. Eating out was reasonably priced. Australian young people staffing slopes, cafes etc very welcoming and effective. In resort shuttle bus was enigma.

Great snow and quiet pistes, very friendly. Loved the new on mountain piste sign boards with daily grooming status. Restaurants unusually busy in the evening. Several seemed to underestimate numbers, disappointingly, as often menu items were off. Maybe as wine festival on whilst there? Good quality food on an off mountain.

Loved it - big ski area, lots of easily accessible off piste and tree runs, great grooming but left enough ungroomed. Best thing was the lack of crowds/queues - even on weekends. All the hotels were ski in/ski out. The only downside was not that much really steep terrain.

Sun Peaks is a fab resort that excels in unhurried snowboarding. The lift queues are almost unexistant, there's a wide range of terrrain and jump parks for beginners through to experts. The village is small but has everything you need for a week's stay. I'd recommend it.

The resort had everything we needed.....plenty of snow to start with...lovely tree lined runs and stunning scenery. This resort is suitable for all capabilities although the Green runs were tinged Blue (comparing to European resorts) The Blue runs were tinged Red ...we didn't experience the Blacks but they looked amazing. The bars and restaurants are varied. There are a few shops - a day off the s…
