Visited with a group of 4 in March 2013. It took us about 6 hours to drive up from Fernie. There is enough good quality skiing in Revelstoke for 4 days for good skiers with lots of good off piste available for the more advanced. We had great fresh powder for 2 out of 4 days and would expect that to be normal for this resort. The weather was unusually warm for early March during our visit (+6 botto…

Revelstoke is a well kept secret with British skiers, but is quickly getting put on the map in Canada. It's a fantastic resort for intermediate and advanced skiers, and benefits from a unique location and weather system - resulting in lots of powder! Development is ongoing so expect this resort to keep getting bigger and better!

Ideally suited to high end intermediates and advanced. Everything well labelled and easy to find on the mountain. The free tour round the mountain was excellent.

What great skiing, superb mountain, way beyond expectations, so much snow at this time of the year.

Had less bowls & chutes than Kicking Horse, but some great gladed runs and easily accessible back country. The glades still had powder nearly a week after the last snow - though you did have to hunt for it.

Pistes kept in very good condition and empty. Unfortunately cat-skiing cancelled for the 2 days we'd booked - the luck of the draw/snow conditions. Sandman Inn was fine base, plenty of restaurants in town.

Your recommendation for Kicking Horse was much appreciated. If you at Ski Safari have not skied in Revelstoke, I can positively state that it is even better than Kicking Horse & worthy of a big 5 Stars!

We stayed in Revelstoke for 5 days at the end of Jan 2012, having just spent 5 days at Kicking Horse. This is one of those little secrets you find out about, which you don't really want to tell anyone else about in case everyone finds out! The accommodation we stayed in was at the Sutton Place Hotel, in a 1 bedroom studio apartment including 2 bed sofa beds. The accomodation is new, furnished in a…
