An exciting new addition to RED Mountain Resort - The Josie is the first luxury ski-in ski-out hotel in the resort offering a new level of comfort.

Canada's Best Ski Boutique Hotel 2019-2021, The Josie is RED Mountain Resort's first and only ski-in ski-out, full-service boutique hotel. Unlike anything else in the resort, the hotel is right next to the Silverlode Chair, with the Red Chair a minute away on skis. The modern design takes cues from Rossland's mining and mountain culture, maximising the surrounding views.

The Josie features 106 guest rooms and suites, the vibrant Velvet restaurant and lounge, ski valet, slopeside pool and hot tub, fitness centre and a bespoke spa overlooking the mountains.

Fabulous hotel. Not quite perfect (reduced breakfast staff due to COVID when you really want to get fed quickly and get out onto hill) but very close. Room, housekeeping, bar, cocktails and food excellent. Ski concierge above and beyond.

The hotel was generally nice but also badly impacted by covid. The majority of hotel staff seemed untrained and very green to the industry. This was saved by a truly excellent Guest Relations Manager (Robyn), the Housekeeping Manager and a couple of other staff. Rooms were nicely designed, relatively spacious and very comfortable. Modern hotel (only two years old I think) beside the main lift - ski-in/ski-out. Very comfortable, stylish rooms. Great bar/restaurant. Ski concierge service adds to the convenience. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Very smart new hotel, with spacious modern rooms. Food in restaurant is really good and bar is pleasant enough to spend an hour or so, just don't expect it to be lively.

The Josie, ski in / out is a great addition to Red Mountain Resort. Nice hotel with lovely staff especially in the restaurant. The ski concierge is a nice treat. Unfortunately the pool / spa terrace had not been built - the Josie only having been opened 2 months - but this will be a lovely asset when completed - outdoor pool on the side of the piste - fabulous before or after hitting the slopes !…
