For advanced skiers, the backcountry options are phenomenal. Panorama has one of the biggest vertical drops in North America, with the incredible Taynton Bowl and the option to go heli-skiing - RK Heliski are based right in the resort, and their daily packages start from three drops in the Purcell Mountains.
Another thing we love about Panorama is its convenience. Slopeside accommodation and little to no queues mean you can be at the summit in minutes, while the compact village has everything on-hand. For more restaurants, bars and a larger supermarket, the shuttle service takes you to nearby Invermere town.
