The Pine Inn - Bronze was first ski-in/out resort during our trip with ski lockers located on the ground floor with only few steps to make to the lift. Our room had a lovely balcony which overlooked the hills and a hot tub. The room was fairly basic, however clean and the bed was comfortable. I also liked central check in system before entering the village. The prices were reasonable even though it looks like a purpose built resort. The groomers did a great job every night but the base layer was getting very icy (nothing anybody can do about it), however after speaking to people in our favourite TBar and Grill we soon found Taynton Bowls and some great backcountry skiing. I would definitely come back.

I've only been to Whistler before when travelling to Canada and I loved Panorama's skiing. All tree lined, great pistes and although quite a small resort there was plenty to do for a week I felt. We had a poor week for snow which is unusual but apparently Panorama was one of the few resorts around that had snow and it was better than good. I would love to go back with good snow. The off piste and the heli- skiing would be awesome. Quiet at night but enough to keep you happy.

Panorama is a compact quiet resort with one mountain that offers a variety of different skiing options from beginner to advanced. Some good itinerary runs can be found off the summit into the Taynton bowl. Accommodation is split between the upper village condos which are predominantly ski in / ski out and are of a good size with lower village condos which are connected to the upper village via a short gondola type lift. The resort is quite limited in terms of restaurants and bars with many of the restaurants only opening for a few days each week however there is enough of a choice for a week's stay. The restaurant at RK Heliski was very good and recommended and is a short walk from the lower village. We booked a day's heli-skiing with RK Heli and it was fantastic. There was a thorough safety briefing prior to departure and the whole day including the skiing was brilliant. If you have skied powder before and are an intermediate to advanced skier then you should definitely give it a go but it's not for the beginner. Our children (13 & 14) had a day in ski school while we were heli-skiing and were in a class with just one other child and enjoyed a challenging day's instruction which included itinerary runs in the fresh powder

Lovely little resort nestled in the foot of the Kootenay Rockies in British Columbia. All of the accommodation is ski-in/ski-out which makes it so convenient. The small resort offers two restaurants, two bars, and one grocery store, so it is definitely small but lovely nonetheless! But it is a huge ski area considering the small resort, with a variety of runs and a huge backcountry ski bowl. Will definitely be going back

We had a 2 bedroom condo in Panorama Springs. It was very good indeed.The accommodation was first rate and is ski in ski out. All those who work in the village are friendly and helpful and although the village is small there are a good range of restaurants and cafes. The skiing was excellent including a 'powder day' on the Saturday. The slopes were virtually deserted throughout our holiday with absolutely no lift lines, except for 9am on 'powder day' and even then the wait was short.
