Great ski-out with lots of runs for all levels. Not a lot to do for the non-skier sadly and few food/drink options so self catering is a must (get your groceries from Sobey's or AG Valley foods in Invermere). There is a General store in the lower village but this is not so well stocked or such good value. The hot pools at our hotel were a great post-ski treat and open to all resort patrons. Good massages and facials to be had at Pure Massage in the Pine Inn. This lodge also contains the cardio and weights rooms - if you know where to look. Some accommodation was a little 'battered' and needs a refurb but still quite comfortable and 'livable'. Invermere is a small town with nice cafes and art shops and the supermarkets. Would return if all of the party skied as there are more runs left to do!

Panorama is a real gem, a compact resort with many miles of trails. A great variety of runs for intermediates and beyond. Beautifully groomed trails, but very trails are ungroomed with natural bumps, so a destination for more adventurous skiers. My family loved the challenge of Taynton, which was not for me so most mornings I skied with the wonderfully friendly Mountain Friends. These folks made my holiday especially great as they guided me around the mountain (free of charge), with the company of other similar ability skiers. Stayed at Ski Tip Lodge, which was a fabulous location. Near bar and restaurants, not a great variety, but good atmosphere in all. Local supermarket had limited supply, but shopped in Invermere for more options. Used the Spring pools a few times, bit busy, but a lovely way to soothe aching muscles. Took a while to adjust to the cold temperatures, with a low of minus 19, however it thankfully warmed up a little over the week. A great place to ski over New Year, very quiet slopes and great snow. Despite the long journey from Scotland, we will return!

Beautiful location, quiet slopes and very friendly staff. However, limited choice of food and beverages particularly for children. Plenty of terrain for a strong intermediate to advanced skier/boarder but limited terrain for the less confident. We had the storm of the decade hit the resort during our stay so a lack of grooming and piste closures were an issue (as expected). Overall, a great resort with fantastic terrain for the stronger rider but less confident riders may find some of the piste grading quite misleading. We had an early season trip booked so some issues at the resort but nothing to put me off going back, I would just go later in the season. Highlight for me was the Heli Boarding at RK - Highly recommend it. For the rest of the family, it was skiing and boarding in a winter wonderland over Christmas with fantastic views and being able to enjoy it all from the village hot pools at the end of the day!!
