Panorama is fantastic! We enjoyed pistes and off-piste on which we often appeared to be the only skiers/boarders. We ski hard, but on the tenth/last day of our trip we were still discovering new sections of piste - not what we were expecting as on paper Panorama would appear to have a limited lift system. The un-pisted Taynton Bowl was challenging but held the snow well and was under-used as there is a hike involved to access it - its well worth the effort and you are rewarded with varied and contours skiing all the way to the resort base.

Had a great time there, the only reason for rating this resort a 4 instead of 5 is the snow conditions while we were there. Freeze-thaw conditions with not much recent snow so we were skiing on very hard-packed and occasionally icy trails. However the resort staff did a fantastic job keeping the runs in as good a condition as possible despite the weather! Am excellent choice of good value bars and restaurants in the resort within very close distance of our accommodation including a new exceptional Italian restaurant.

A fantastic resort with all amenities close by and easily accessible. The range of skiing is great for an Intermediary/ Expert skier, but equally caters for beginners. We were amazed at the lack of crowds and queues, despite being here on their busiest day of the year. The pistes were beautifully groomed and the guide we had for our off piste skiing in Taunton bowl was excellent. This opened up the wide variety of off piste skiing for our family, which our family loved. Perfect for a 1 week. We also went on the day trip to Kicking Horse, which was fantastic- don't be put off by the piste map - there are plenty of intermediary runs and lunch at Eagle Eye is highly recommended!

This was my first solo ski trip and being a newly retired female I was a little apprehensive so I chose my destination carefully based on my previous experience of skiing in Canada and Europe. The Ski Safari advisors were really helpful. Panorama proved to be a great choice. The people I met were so friendly that I felt comfortable and was able to enjoy the resort. The skiing was far broader than the piste map suggests, and as other reviews note the slopes are not crowded so you can make the most of each run. The Mountain Friends are also a ‘must’ experience as they really open up your eyes to the great skiing that Panorama can deliver. On a practical note the holiday also proved to be very economical in terms of the costs involved, including some very good local wines!
