Absolutely charming little town in glorious surroundings. some great food in town. Sunshine village is a great ski area. Some immense terrain. Some of the infrastructure, lifts etc are a little dated however. But this is a great place to ski.

Lucky with snow as it snowed every night and powder was great- slopes great and for all levels. No waiting at lifts, lift staff super friendly, loved it.

Great skiing and snow conditions, unfortunately we were there during a very very cold snap so Sunshine shut a couple of days but otherwise had a brilliant time.

The scenery in Banff National Park is stunning. It was the first time we've skied in Banff and would definitely go back. Both ski resorts; Sunshine Village and Lake Louise; are excellent for skiing. We stayed in Banff town which suited us. We got to ski during the day and sample the restaurants and bars in the evening, which there are plenty of in Banff town. Banff is as it seems, a lovely town with lots of shops, restaurants and amenities alongside amazing views and short journeys to great skiing / boarding! The town has a fantastic small community feel with everyone we met being very friendly. The restaurants cater from cheap and cheerful to gourmet, so caters for all tastes.
