Loved sunshine village, especially on a powder day. Skiers in the group didn't enjoy as much as Lake Louise but this was due to snow conditions more than anything else.

Banff is an attractive small town in a stunning location in the National Park. The choice of restaurants, bars and hotels is excellent and staff are universally and friendly. We skied in Sunshine and Lake Louise areas and benefited from the best snow conditions for 10 years. The choice of runs from beginner to expert is excellent. We skied with a Leader from the Ski Club of Great Britain which hel…

The ski areas are easily accessible albeit by bus but it is worth the journey especially to Lake Louise. There are lots of restaurants at varied prices to choose from. The ski shops are well appointed and have very good bargains at the end of Feb onwards. There is plenty of nightlife to suit all tastes. Best is that the town is very clean, the drivers courteous for you to cross the road.

We spent two weeks at the Fairmont Springs Hotel for our honeymoon and it was absolutely awesome. We were there for 2011 New Year and through January and the service, the people and the beautiful hotel could not be faulted. I would highly recommend Banff, this hotel and the skiing at Lake Louise and Sunshine 100%

Awesome snow in early April inc fresh powder. Loved Sunshine, didn't really get a chance to properly explore LAke Louise, and Norquay was a little small (but nice for a day and very quiet, even on Easter weekend)

Small enough to easily walk around, plenty of bars and places to eat. Good selection of shops from $1 shops to designer labels. Sunshine village is close by and excellent for snowboarding, with plenty of wide and quiet runs. (deserted compared to European resorts). Want to go back already!

It's all been said below - all I can add is that Mount Norquay is a great little resort - we did our first day (more like half a day!) there and it was perfect for getting the ski legs back - apart from when we did the huge mogul field as our last run!

We stayed at Tunnel Mountain resort. Although a little tired, the rooms are welcoming and warm. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Being up on the mountain means it takes a little longer to get to the ski hill, so we hired a car, which made life loads easier. We have been going to Banff for seven years and we love it! Thanks to Rupert for sorting out our wonderful holiday.
