We have been to Banff on numerous occasions but not for a few years. It's a Town that offers a lot. Shops, Restaurants, Bars, big Supermarket, so you can get just about anything you need with the full price range if you shop around and look for offers.

Endless skiing options, over three mountains, coupled with a beautiful, friendly town, big enough to give you a massive choice of restaurants and other activities, but small enough to feel 'local'. Highly recommended!

Lively town, great food. Very good skiing at Sunshine though they had had a rather dry January.

Third visit, always a joy to stay in Banff with so much to do in the village. The skiing despite poor snow was still good and the bus journeys to Lake Louise and Sunshine are in themselves a highlight

Banff is a beautiful town, with the most breathtaking views, friendly locals, good choices of restaurants and a free roam bus.

Banff is a great town. It's not ski in / ski out with the slopes a bus ride away but you get access to three ski areas on one lift pass. The town has a great atmosphere and the bars and restaurants are amazing. Plenty of shops ranging from art to clothing and souvenir. If you get a chance, walk along the Bow River trail up to Banff Springs Hotel.

Beautiful resort. Great town centre, with well organised buses to take you to Sunshine, Lake Louise or Norquay ski areas.

Great Town, plenty of shops and places to eat. Ski areas brilliant, lots of variety of runs and not too overcrowded. Only downside is the bus and gondola to/from ski areas each day but they are very well organised, if the bus is full they send another one so you don’t have to wait for the next timetabled one.

We really enjoyed staying in Banff with easy access to the three ski areas by car which we found really flexible, although good local bus transport is also available. The town has a great range and choice of restaurants and enough shops to spend some time browsing.

Banff is a fantastic town with a great variety of eating and drinking places with a transient population, so don't be surprised if you bump into someone from down the road at home. Checkout the outdoor equipment shops, the local knowledge and kit knowledge these people have will help you get the right gear.
