Great resort and town

Our first stay in Banff. The town is small and easy to get around on foot. Really good choice of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as hotels. We really liked it and would go again.

We had a great ski holiday in Banff pulled together by Ski Safari. I was travelling alone with my son and the team ensured the trip was completely hassle free so we could focus on the snow.

We had a great experience, there are 3 ski area accessible from Banff; Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mount Norquay. The last of these we didn't visit as unfortunately being at the lowest altitude of the 3 it didn't have great snow when we visited but we spent a day at Sunshine - the runs looked great but we chose the wrong day, no sunshine at Sunshine and very flat light - we did spend 5 days at Lake …

Abundant choice of eateries and shops with interesting walks to enjoy when the ski slopes were closed. Simple and reliable transport to and from the available ski resorts. Made to feel welcome by locals.

Fantastic resort, plenty for all age groups to do, easy walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Regular shuttle buses to the ski resorts and great priced public transport for anything else. Thoroughly recommend Banff.

Banff is a good base for a boarding holiday, with 3 ski areas covered by the same lift pass and free shuttles to each of them. The town itself is lively, with a large variety of places to eat.

Lake Louise is wonderful. The ski friends are such an asset to the mountain and we skied with them several times. There is endless terrain to explore.
Sunshine is my favourite, one afternoon we stayed on Goats Eye and skied powder and hardly saw another person.
All the food we had in the self service canteens was tasty and good value.
At both mountains there are friendly volunteers to help with…
