We had a room upgrade so accommodation was excellent but even standard room looked OK. Hotel in a great location easy walk to bars and restaurants. Underground and heated parking a bonus.

A good, fairly basic hotel in a great location for accessing the delights of Banff. The ski bus stops next door so no walking in ski boots. We loved the breakfasts - I think I'm having maple syrup withdrawal symptoms.

The staff at this hotel were superb. Could not do enough for me and even located a wheelchair. The accommodation was clean and we had all we needed. Though with my extended stay in the room for five days I probably could have done with it being a little more desirable. Had we just skied all week the accommodation would have been spot on.

Having just had a refresh, the Elk & Avenue offered fresh, spacious and modern rooms and is perfectly located to get the bus to the mountains. The staff in all areas of hospitality were so nice and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so we had lovely views of the mountain. There wasn't a great deal of outside noise so we were extremely happy with our choice.
