Huge ski area, good lift system and the Vail Guest Service Staff were very helpful.

Vail was absolutely perfect for the intermediate skier and above. Fantastic choice of runs, little to no queues for the lifts/gondalas. A very well designed resort which was well worth the journey!

Great ski resort - excellent mountain hosting to show you around and meet people. Easy access by public bus to Beaver Creek which is also good. Vail 'town' is soulless and ridiculously expensive. The George Pub seems to be the exception!

Vail is a truly stunning resort. Easy to get to from Denver, with fantastic skiing. We went in "early season" yet they had almost all terrain open. The resort is well run with the grooming carried out to an incredibly high standard. Amazing for advanced skiers/boarders.

We stayed at Lionshead base area which on reflection we thought was a much better location for getting to ski areas than Vail Village with less of a walk even though it was primarily chosen for it's much cheaper accommodation. Free buses to Vail are every 5 minutes in the evening or a pleasant 15 minute walk off main roads. Fantastic ski area, very well managed, lots of 'information' people around…

Skiing in Vail was fantastic. We enjoyed exploring Vail Village and found it interesting to see things like the ski museum and the display of the Vail 10th Division WW2 regiment.

We LOVE Vail, 4th year running for us. Amazing: if you want great snow, varied pistes, beginners slopes, ski school, family runs, powder bowls & back country, this is the place for you. Can’t fault anything, ski heaven.
