We had great snow and weather, bit snow half way through holiday, powder. Ski area very good, not many mountain restaurants , bit busy but always seats available. Really only one way up mountain a.m but Gondola really fast, big queue only took 5-10 mins to get on. Queues at lifts, not often, very well organised took little time. Only downside was lack of bars at base of lift at end of the day. Two there were too busy Shuttle buses excellent. At night going downtown or to market etc, Fone shuttle and they would pick u up. 8mins was longest we had to wait. Trappeurs Resort was excellent, staff very helpful, hot tubs and pool very inviting and not too busy. Went to mountain hot springs one night, not to be missed. All ages of skiers, good amount of elderly, being that ourselves we felt right at home. Everyone very friendly and made you feel very welcome to be there.

Steamboat Springs is a town with plenty to offer. The base area had enough bars, shops etc. One of our group had an injury, she went to the Medical Centre and was really well looked after. Steamboat had a nice relaxed feel bout it, everyone we met was delighted we had come all the way from Scotland to ski in Steamboat. We all agreed that as a resort, it was one that we would be happy to go back to. Skiing was really good. Plenty of runs - well signposted on the runs, not always the case in some resorts.
