The Hyatt Place Cottonwood is an excellent base for exploring Utah’s incredible Cottonwood Canyons.

There is a complimentary shuttle to take you to the bus depot at the base of Solitude where you can pick up buses to the ski resorts of Brighton, Alta and Snowbird. Downtown Salt Lake City is also only a 20-minute drive away. The hotel has great facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, fire pit, full-service bar and a 24-hour guest kitchen. There is a host of shopping and dining options close by as well as a restaurant and cafe on site. Standard Hyatt, nice size rooms and the breakfast buffet wasn't bad of a US hotel. Even though it's on a major road the road noise was hardly noticeable. There was an issue with housekeeping servicing the rooms. They failed to do ours the first day, then tried to service it after we had got back from a full day on the slopes. We complained, next day not services, complained again and the housekeep…
