4* The Yarrow - DoubleTree by Hilton

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large and well equipped, although I would have liked a bath rather than a walk in shower. However, there was a lovely hot tub to soak in to ease those tired muscles. The breakfast was nice, however we had paid for b&b which meant that we only had access to the buffet menu which didn’t have a large selection and it did become quite “samey” towards the end of the week. The guys at reception were really helpful, especially the ski storage team. There were a few excursions that looked good and were promoted by the hotel. But just for reference to anyone going to Park City, you’ll probably need use of a car to go to them. You can hire a car from reception but neither myself or my husband like driving abroad so unfortunately we missed out. Overall, the hotel was clean, quiet and perfectly positioned next to both a supermarket and the free bus stop.

This was a very pleasant weeks stay. All staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with warm cookies, and taken on the shuttle bus to pick our skis up. The shuttle bus to the ski area started at 8am every morning and commenced again from 2:30 in the afternoon and the drivers were brilliant. There was also a ski locker room as you entered the hotel and the attendants would come and take your skis and boots and put them in the locker room for you, a nice little touch.

Pleasant room, with the hotel situated about 1 mile outside the main town. Bar and restaurant was good with reasonable prices. There were other restaurants nearby which provided different options at night. Watch the strange licensing laws and the pricing of bottles of wine though. You will also pay corkage on top of the price if you buy the bottle as opposed to just a glass of wine. Hearty breakfasts and made good use of the hot tub at the end of the day.
