Silverado Lodge Customer Reviews

Our Condo at the Silverado Lodge was superb. We had a separate bedroom with en-suite and a large seating and kitchen area with a lovely fireplace. Our windows and balcony had the valley view, which was stunning. The facilities included a fitness suite, pool and hot-tub, which were good to average. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The Silverado is one of the few accommodations on the free village bus circuit, which made transfers between Canyons & Park City easy.

Breakfast was at The Summit hotel a 5 min walk away. No problem at all for us, but we did see people getting the shuttle bus up there (!) and also to the base area, also a 5 min walk away (albeit uphill). The only thing that I would say is that during our 10 day stay our room was only cleaned once. I don't mind the cleaning part, but as we were s/c, the bins needed emptying far more often than that and there were no instructions anywhere on how to get rubbish collected. Not a huge deal as we carried it down to the basement, but ideally bins should be emptied every couple of days even if nothing else is cleaned.

5/10 minute walk depending if with ski boots/skis or not from the lifts or you could wait for the shuttle bus. Breakfast at the main lodge was plentiful and varied not sure I would have paid $24 per adult and 12$ per child if it wasn't included in the accommodation price though. The sofa bed mattress was not very good, you could feel the springs as it was very thin, but our grandson did sleep so must have been ok. Our king bed was extremely comfortable. There was also a copious supply of granola bars, which helped make a snack on the mountain a bit more affordable.

Delighted with the one bedroomed suite which was big and well appointed. Only comment is that there is no grocery store of any size in the resort. We could get a few basics but had we wanted to cook would have needed a trip to one of the big stores which would have been a bit of a mission without a car. It could of course be done on the free bus or via a cab but don't really want to waste valuable ski time on a food shopping expedition!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was luxurious to say the least. Our sons bagged the bedroom with the jacuzzi bath, the kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer was well used. The service in the hotel was exemplary and we were made to feel very welcome. The outdoor pool and hot tub were enjoyed after a great days skiing. Although you could walk to the ski lifts the shuttle service was quick and efficient. We would definitely return back to the Silverado Lodge.
