The ski resort was excellent. The runs were wide and the perfect length. As a boarder those pesky flat bits were more than manageable and relatively few. The lifts were quick and very rarely had queues. There were ranger type people at the top of every main lift who were really helpful and knowledgeable- guiding you to where you needed to get to or suggesting good runs to try. My only gripe would be that the mountain restaurants were expensive (£6 for a standard sized bottle of Pepsi). However, they did make the most delicious and energy giving granola bar and provided free water so we always had drinks available to us. The actual resort was quite expansive, however the free buses were frequent and easy to use, plus our hotel courtesy bus would take us to most places. Overall, the people were really friendly and helpful, the snow was amazing (or at least it was for the week that we were there) and the relatively short transfer time was a bonus. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic ski park with lots of good terrain. Visited the week after Christmas and New Year, and after all the rain and damp grey weather back in Manchester, this was winter wonderland with tree lined runs, lots of snow and powder skiing. I have never been to a resort where the staff are so friendly and helpful, even putting the skis on the gondola for you. I think some of the lifts could do with covers on them. Overall, a truly fantastic week of skiing.

Canyons - Ultra modern resort purpose built with great accommodation options and free bus service serving all the resort. Park City gives another area with more of a ski town with more amenities shops and restaurants giving a wider choice. Alta - A skiers resort with its location in little Cottonwood - a must visit with the compact nature and so much varied terrain to choose from and great snow conditions always (only problem may be getting there) all my visits have given top quality snow.
