Timberline is a small resort which is also pretty flat mainly but when the sun comes out has stunning views & some hiking possibilities - long hikes though! 2 days is more than enough to cover everything at this resort. Considering how small it is seems odd that they don't run the drag lift up to the top when the weather is good (I hiked about 3/4 of it in 40 minutes) & they have big chunks shut f…

Hood River ski resort was well serviced with car parks and had complimentary interconnecting bus services. The ski lifts were well linked and the runs well groomed and the resort gave ample skiing for two days. Additionally, for myself the lift pass was FREE, saving some $70!

Hood River Best Western: Surprisingly good and its location on the river was quite stunning.

Stayed in Hood River which is a lovely town with good dining options and a laid-back vibe. Worth the 30 mile drive to Mt Hood to ski each day. Also spent a very enjoyable day skiing at Timberline.
