Mt Bachelor is now one of my favourite places to ride, loved every minute at the place. We were lucky enough to get a couple of bluebird mornings before it started snowing again & they do a great job of grooming the place to perfection. It's one of the few places I've been where they have literally put a lift right on the peak - it doesn't run that often mind as it's either too windy or no visibility - we only saw it run once in our 3 day visit but there is plenty to do when it isn't running. The place is so much fun to ride, lost count of how many terrain parks there are but there are so many natural hits & gullies & windlips & cat tracks to jump off you don't really need to bother with them - I didn't. On the sunny mornings it was great cruising the empty groomers & on the snowy days there are great tree runs to be had off Cloudchaser, Outback & Northwest chairs. Long runs down to Northwest & about a 10 minute lift ride back up - at least your legs are ready to go again when you get off. The food & drinks were also really good & reasonably priced haven't really got a bad word to say about the place. It's much cheaper to buy the lift tickets online & in advance - we bought 4 of 6 day passes but unfortunately only got to ride 3 days as the resort was shut one day due to a broken water main

Pre-booked our lift passes and when we collected them, we got a VIP welcome from the Resort Director who had arranged for us to ski with one of his Ski Ambassadors to show us the area. This was a very nice touch on the part of the resort who seemed very keen to impress us as guests of Ski Safari. The resort has varied terrain with some of the best tree skiing we've come across. We were lucky with amazing powder conditions. Lift to summit was only open one of our three days - locals commented that it often closes due to high wind

The skiing was very good. The Ambassador Service Liz and I enjoyed, always good to have someone who knows the trails! The staff at resort were very helpful and friendly. The car (KIA Sorento) A.W.D. winter tyres, one couldn’t have managed with less, Budget efficient and helpful. Maps and some form of routing to Bend would have helped. Weather, Mt Bachelor close to the coast therefore influenced by a Maritime Climate, the conditions varied, however once the sun was out skiing tremendous.
