High in the Teton Mountains, this legendary ski area has scenic slopes and some of North America's steepest inbound chutes, all well-linked by an impressive modern lift system.
For advanced skiers, the iconic tram whisks you up Rendezvous Mountain, where the challenging terrain includes the famous Corbet's Couloir. For serious powder days, neighbouring Grand Targhee is a must.
More recent developments have opened up the mountain for intermediate skiers and riders, and even beginners and young families are catered for with the addition of a dedicated learning area with family-friendly facilities.
Beneath the slopes is the accommodation hub of Teton Village which has a few restaurants and bars or for a bit more life, the authentic cowboy town of Jackson is a 20-minute shuttle away. We usually gravitate towards the historic Silver Dollar après bar in The Wort Hotel, or the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for live bands. You'll also find day spas to ease those post-Corbet aches, while the nightlife is mostly downtown.

Alternatively, Jackson Hole Town has cheaper accommodation and a livelier atmosphere, with regular shuttle buses to ferry skiers to the slopes.
