Someone on a lift in Vail told me that Big Sky had everything and was just about the best. He was right. The Rockies here are glaciated much more than in colorado and this means a greatly varied terrain with bowls, ridges, couloirs and gullies. Been skiing 30yrs. and just got back from the holiday of a lifetime. Went to Jackson and did heliskiing, Big Sky and Grand Targhee, everything was superb, well done to James and Ski Safari. Had been to J & GT before and knew what to expect but Big Sky was something else! Wow, it was huge and in the 5 days we were there we didn't ski all of it.
