What a wonderful position! Truly ski in, ski out. A great place for families. The hotel provides a ski shuttle bus if you don't want to ski from or to the door. Also we found out (sadly too late for us) that you can see the Northern Lights a short walk away from the hotel - bring snow boots! Half board breakfast and evening meal were delicious and varied, and the staff were always able to provide an alternative choice in case of allergy, intolerance or preference. The rooms were clean, spacious and well fitted out, and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tubs and saunas in the spa area were well received after a long day's skiing. Highly recommended.

Copperhill have completely got it right- stylish but laid back five star luxury in the mountains, we felt completely at home and the kids wanted to live there after a week! Excellent-we loved having the extra space with the suite and kitchen and waking up to amazing views after the best sleep ever. Breakfasts and kids meals were amazing. The Half board option includes two course a la carter dinner - the chefs clearly put a lot of work into the menus. Next time we go we may choose not to do half board so we have the option of a la carter dining, the more relaxed library bar menuself-or even self-catering. The hotel minibus just goes to Are bjornen ski area so a car/taxi is needed to get to the shops-not a problem but useful to know for future. Also the resort/Sweden is expensive to eat out and to buy alcohol compared to other countries.
