Ski Safari Photo Competition 2025/26

Our customer photo competition is bigger and better than ever before this season, featuring six new categories (including video) and a mega grand prize - a ski holiday to Myrkdalen in Norway!

As much as we love helping you build the perfect ski holiday, we get as much joy in seeing those plans come to life in your photos and videos. That’s why we run our photo competition each winter and why this year, we’ve upped the stakes with the chance to win a free ski holiday!

Last year's top ten featured everything from cityscape sunsets to stunning mountain backdrops and skiing action shots.

This year, we're looking for even more variety. We're introducing prizes for six different categories, in addition to the overall winner! This includes bringing back video entries, as we know that many of you enjoy capturing videos just as much as taking photos. Read on below to find out more.

This year, entering is easier than ever before. To submit your entries to our 2025/26 Photo Competition:

3. Add your email address
4. Include your name, booking reference, and where the photos were taken in the message. And if there's an interesting story to go along with your photos and videos, we'd love to hear it!

Each picture must be at least 500kb to be considered in the voting process, but don't worry if you're not packing high-tech camera equipment; we've had plenty of winners use a smartphone! You can enter as many photos as you like.

Photos must be taken during the 2025/26 winter season on a ski holiday booked with Ski Safari.

The closing date for entries is 31 May 2026.

We're offering our best-ever prize for the overall winner, and the most prizes ever with the introduction of six new categories.

Grand Prize

The best photo, as decided by our team, will win a 7-night ski holiday to Myrkdalen, Norway in January 2027 for 2 people.

Blissfully uncrowded and nestled in Norway's spectacular fjord region, Myrkdalen offers terrain for all abilities. Wide slopes for beginners, cruisey groomers for intermediates, and untracked off-piste for experts. It's Norway's most snow-sure resort, with an average snowfall of five metres a year.

Below the ski area is the ski-in ski-out 4* Myrkdalen Hotel, the hub of the resort. It offers modern decor and oak furnishings, with three restaurants catering for casual right through to fine-dining experiences, along with two bars. As with anywhere in Norway, the food is simply exceptional.

As part of your holiday, you'll enjoy a day trip to the nearby fjords. You'll take to the water on a two-hour electric sightseeing cruise from Gudvangen (home to The Viking Village open-air museum) to Flåm, where you'll ride the famous Flåm Railway, voted one of the best railway rides in the world, as it hugs the mountainside and rolls alongside rocky gorges, frozen waterfalls and beautiful snowy countryside.

• Shared transfers from Bergen to Myrkdalen
• 7 nights half board at the 4* Myrkdalen Hotel in a standard room
• 2 x 6-8-day adult lift passes
• Day trip to the fjords, including an electric fjord cruise and the Flåm Railway

The winner of each sub-category will win a £50 John Lewis voucher. The categories for 2025/26 are:

Overall winner

Once all entries have been received at the end of May 2026, the Ski Safari marketing team will choose a shortlist of their favourites. This shortlist will then be shared with our whole team, who will pick their favourite.

Sub-Categories

The Ski Safari marketing team will decide the winner for each sub-category.

The winners will be announced by 30 June 2026.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering the competition. By entering you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by them.

• Promoter’s Details: Ski Safari Limited (trading as Ski Safari or Freedom Treks), 8th Floor Becket House, 36 Old Jewry, London, EC2R 8DD, registered in England under company number 3196000.
• This competition is open to all Ski Safari customers travelling during the 2025/26 winter season, defined as 1 November 2025 to 31 May 2026, on a Ski Safari holiday. Employees and immediate family (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) of the Promoter or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible to enter this competition.

• All details provided by you will be held by the Promoter and used in accordance with these terms and conditions. By entering this competition you consent to the Promoter contacting you for advertising and marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
• Any photos or videos submitted that clearly feature people must be of you or have been taken with the permission of the subject (and if they are under 18, the permission of their parents or guardians as well) and must not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. You warrant that the photo/video you submit is of you or your own work and that you own the copyright for it. Any complaints lodged against your entry in relation to permissions will result in it being removed. If you use an image/video you do not own the copyright for we retain the right to provide your name to the owner of the image/video, should they request it. Any images or videos deemed to be inappropriate or offensive will not be published.
• Copyright in all images submitted remains with you. You grant a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to the Promoter to feature your photos and videos in any publications, websites and/or any promotional material, PR or advertising connected with this competition and/or any future marketing campaigns. You also grant the Promoter the right to use your name and country of residence for the sole purpose of identifying you as the author of your entry and/or as a winner of the Competition.
• The competition is open from 1 December 2025 to 31 May 2026 inclusive. Photos and videos must be both taken and entered within this date range.
• Late entries or entries of a file size 500kb or less will not be valid. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries not received and/or any lost entries.
• The main prize is for 2 passengers only and includes return flights from London to Bergen in January 2027, shared transfers, 7 nights half board accommodation in a double room at the 4* Myrkdalen Hotel, lift passes and a day trip to the fjords. Any additional passengers, ski extras or activities can be included for a fee.
• The sub-category prizes are one £50 John Lewis gift voucher per category. Gift cards will be sent to winners via email.
• The prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred by you and cannot be redeemed by you for cash or any other prize. We retain the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, covenants and liability (whether express or implied) regarding the competition or the prize.
• The winner will be the entry judged to be the best of all entries received by a panel of Ski Safari employees (together the “Judges”). The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The winner will be notified by email by 30 June 2026, with instructions on how to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or is unable to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to choose another winner from eligible entries received.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition in exceptional circumstances.
• All entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the Promoter reserves the right to exclude entrants for any breach of these terms and conditions.
• The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
