Skier - my brief attempt at snowboarding did not go well!

I was very much a late starter and didn't ski as a kid (unless you count Plymouth dry ski slope). My first proper experience was in France in my early 20's and I've been on a few trips since then, including a few unusual places.

I don't know about "best", but the most memorable was being hit with a massive tree branch by a naked Russian man in a Siberian sauna, before having to jump into the snow (also naked).

I've not been with Ski Safari long, so I'm yet to go on one myself. The Hokkaido Explorer Ski Safari in Japan would definitely be my ski safari of choice though- it looks absolutely incredible!

Morzine - I'm lucky to have a friend with a house in the village.

I've got my eye on Norway first, then Japan!

I once booked a 3-week trip to Argentina but ended up flying home from Colombia a year later.

Don't try to snowboard without taking some lessons first!
