I'm a skier, but I would love to try snowboarding one day.
Ski/boarding history
I learned to ski as a child - my aunt lives in the Alps so I was lucky enough to go and stay with her many times growing up. I have loved skiing ever since!
Best mountain moment
Watching Chase and Status live, surrounded by mountains and snow in Les Deux Alpes. I have seen them at many locations but that was definitely the most memorable!
Favourite Ski Safari
I haven’t tried a Ski Safari yet, but Japan is my dream country to visit and ski because of the outstanding snow and culture. With this in mind, I would say that the Blizzard, Bento and Bullet Train is one I would love to do in the future.
Last resorts visited
The last resort I visited was Gausta in Norway, on a staff research trip, and we also visited Norefjell in the same week. Both resorts were beautiful, and we enjoyed amazing skiing, weather and food. My favourite part of the trip was skiing down Gaustatoppen, as this was my first time skiing off-piste and the powder snow was incredible.
Next trip
I don’t have anything booked yet, but I would love to visit a Scandinavian resort next!
Interesting fact
I was a competitive swimmer growing up, and still love swimming today. If the ski resort has a pool, I tend to spend as much time there as I do on the slopes!
