Skier.

I learnt to ski on my 8th birthday in Bulgaria. Since then, I have skied with family and friends in the Alps, Banff, Canada, and Utah, USA. I was also a chalet host for one season in Alpe d’Huez, France, where I taught myself to snowboard for 2 weeks. Many bruises later, I switched back to skiing!

There are too many to choose from! But if I had to pick one, I would say on my 22nd birthday when I was a chalet host in Alpe d’Huez, France. My friends and I all dressed up in different outfits, and I had balloons attached to my helmet - we raced around the mountain all day on a treasure hunt. My group were obviously the best, and we were the winners!

The Bergen Railway ski safari - such a stunning way to travel, through the mountains and fjords of Norway. Combining skiing in great resorts, exploring beautiful cities, and experiencing one of the most scenic train journeys. It really isn’t one to miss!

Avoriaz, France and before that was Banff, Canada. Banff was a standout with amazing views, 3 areas to ski, and so much to see and do outside of skiing.

I am lucky enough to experience two Ski Safari trips this coming season! Visiting Norway’s resorts of Voss, Myrkdalen, Geilo and Gausta. Excited to see what all the fuss is about!

I have just returned home from living the Aussie life for the past 3 years. When I was surfing in Byron Bay, a shark swam under me. Safe to say, I quickly got out of there! And I am still as bad at surfing as I was at the start.

Make sure you take lots of Bailey's hot chocolate stops to take in the views!
