Skier. I did a one-hour snowboard lesson at Skidubai when I was 10. I would love to give it a proper go on the slopes.

I first skied a couple of times when I was aged 5 to 7, then again, a couple of times as a teenager. Most recently in ’22, which was my first ski trip without family/teachers. Definitely a different experience!

When I smashed a run I was really nervous about, as it had been 10 years since I had last skied. I celebrated at an après bar, then managed to get down the rest of the run without falling over (more than twice).

I’ve just got back from a summer trip to Norefjell, Geilo, Myrkdalen and Voss with some of my colleagues. I would love to go back in the winter season to see it in the snow. I imagine it would be even more breathtaking than it already was in the sun!

I spent a summer in Southeast Asia doing turtle conservation and rehabilitation. I also trained as a rescue diver during this time – hawksbill turtles don’t get their name for having a gentle bite!

High SPF sunscreen stick. It fits easily in your jacket and helps prevent the dreaded goggle tan.
