Both. I prefer to snowboard off-piste and ski on the groomers.
Ski/ boarding history
A few ski holidays as a teenager spurred me on to working a winter season. After working in Morzine, I went looking for powder in Niseko, Japan which opened my eyes to destinations outside the French Alps. I can’t wait to visit more ski destinations...
Favourite ski safari
Rockies Loop Ski Safari - I haven't done it yet, but I'd love to experience a Canadian adventure and drive to all the steep challenging terrain on offer in the Rocky Mountains.
Best mountain moment
Boarding down the crater of Mount Yotei in Niseko on a bluebird day after a huge dump of snow.
Last resort visited
I was one of the first in the team to have a look at our latest Norway resort, Gausta. It's such a unique resort and the runs are appealing to those at every level.
Next trip
Returning to Japan to explore Hakuba. It's such a large resort and I'm excited to ski and board down as many ski areas as possible.
Interesting fact
My dad was a world freestyle champion windsurfer in the '80’s. Which makes my lack of skill a little embarrassing.
