Just a 15 minute walk, or short shuttle ride via the hotel's own private shuttle service, from Hirafu and the ski lifts, with beautiful views over Mount Yotei. The sleek rooms offer affordable quality with easy access to the restaurants, shops and bars in bustling Hirafu. Flexible bed configurations and interconnecting rooms make this an excellent option for families and groups. Eco-housekeeping is available every second day with a full clean every fourth day. Breakfast is included on-site at the Café Always Niseko.

We loved the laid back vibe at Always. Staff are super friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and an excellent buffet breakfast is offered in a sociable setting - this would work well for solo travellers . Always is about 15 mins walk to restaurants or the hotel shuttle runs regularly. They serve decent ramen here too if you don't wish to venture out in an evening.

Basic clean, hotel that was probably more equivalent to a higher status Hostel than a hotel. Rooms were of a good standard with en-suite bathrooms. Room kettle for your own use. Breakfast was a basic affair with mixture of Western/Asian foods. So take your pick from scrambled eggs, toast to Miso soup , rice and noodles. The accommodation was great for a solo boarder, it had everything I needed. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

This is a skiers hotel. It has a modern urban vibe. No fuss. Really clean, great bed linen and bathrooms. Don’t worry that it is half a mile from the village - the hotel buses are frequent and very reliable. And the night time walk up to the village is magic and takes no time. The breakfast is fantastic and you can eat as much as you like. We didn’t try the evening meal.

Excellent shuttle bus service with frequent runs, staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok, but the evening options and bar were great. It was great being able to leave the ski equipment with the hotel for pick-up at the end of our stay. Rooms were comfortable but layout of the bathroom was inconvenient.

A mix of stylish Japanese minimalism and industrial steampunk corridors make for a clean and comfortable stay. A short 5 min walk to the family chair and a good breakfast spread were also positives. Only downside is the lack of lockers in the ski room and being quite crowded for breakfast.
