We stayed in a condo on Bakkebygrenda that accommodated 14 family members. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was a 1 minute walk to slope 19 from where we skied a short distance to lifts T1 and T2. It was a 10 minute walk to the Radisson and rental shop.

Just 300m from the lift, these cabins are perfect for families. Well equipped, plenty of space, fireplace and sauna.

Really happy with this accommodation, suited our family of 5 very well. Cosy, warm (underfloor heating!), included our own little sauna, and spacious heated hall so all our boots, gloves and other gear dried out overnight. And our own front door that opened out onto the snow, which is so much more fun than traipsing around inside hotel corridors and lifts. Self-catering meant we could eat what/whe…

Small, but more than enough for a young family of 5, could have done with slightly larger hot water tank but thats a minor thing.

The cabins here are well equipped, close enough to ski in and have a sauna and a log fire. What more could we need? Perfect.

Great communal space with plenty of seating and cooking/dining equipment. However, the bedrooms were slightly challenging...with very narrow steep staircase to upper floor.

Both visits to vikinggrenda have been great. This time we were in a slightly smaller cabin, for 6 people. 6 would be a push I'd say, but it was perfect for 4. 2 bedrooms and enough living space for a family, no problem. Kitchen was very well equipped, sauna lovely, and fire glorious! 250m to ski slope which is uphill, but with a bit of luck and enough snow you can ski all the way back to the door.
