The communal areas were first class. The pool, bowling alleys and the soft play were a big hit with the children. Our room was a little tired although perfectly ok. Superb accommodation for families and very welcoming after a days skiing.

Good recommendation from Ski Safari team for meeting our needs for a family friendly ski-in, ski-out accommodation with non-ski activities and good food/drink options. Vestlia Resort is well situated next to the lifts in one of the main Geilo ski areas. The accommodation was spacious and the hotel never felt crowded. The restaurant, pool, bowling alley are all good options.

Staff were lovely, food was so amazing and not skimped on! Sadly wine was v expensive so we spent more time in our room drinking imported alcohol! Big, spacious, plenty of room and bathrooms. Well equipped and very comfortable. At end were a few too many dogs barking most of the night.

The pool in the hotel was lovely, although got busy in the afternoons. The staff were friendly and helpful. It might be useful to have more information in the rooms about meal times, check out time and transfers to the station but this is a minor issue. I…

Our room was in the old quarter of the hotel - so a beautiful outlook over across to Geilo and characterful wooden balcony. The room itself was cosy and simply decorated. Unfortunately it was just a bit too small for us. The sofa bed wasn't great for our two kids to share (you know how a child's body can't understand how to keep to their half of the bed?!) so we didn't sleep terribly well. Next ti…

Rooms a little tired in the old part of the hotel, clean, well serviced but it was convenient. Sofa beds not really appropriate for young children to share pewcefully.

Buffet choice for kids not ideal so my daughter lived on bread all week but she is very fussy!
