The apartments were in a spectacular location, with amazing views, and were comfortable, with everything we could need, and very warm and cozy. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with a waffle maker, filter coffee machine, plenty of spoons and chopping boards, which are often lacking. The swimming pool was great, and nice to be able to access it without going outside. Reception was friendly and helpful with anything we asked. Two downsides were 1) everything is starting to look a bit tired in the apartments. Baseboards broken, edging to flooring loose, lamp switches broken, that kind of thing. 2) although the apartments are fantastically located for the slopes of Havsdalgrenda (ski in/out down a (steep) blue), they are a 10-15 minute drive to Vestlia, which is where ski rental and ski school/Trollklub was located, and a 10 minute drive into town, both down/up a steep hill. There is a ski bus but this only runs three times in the morning and once in the afternoon. We were fine with hire cars, but would have liked to do a transfer by train, but would not want to be in this location without a car. Parking was great, underground and close to the apartment (up a flight of internal stairs).
