Nestled on the edge of a picturesque forest with panoramic views of Kvitåvatn Lake and Gaustatoppen, the Lake View Cabins ('Kvitåvatn Fjellhytte') are in a peaceful area between Gausta's main base and The Jolly Sportsman pub ('Den Lykkelige Sportsmann').

The Tilbringeren ski slope gracefully winds on either side and the trails outside lead you on a scenic route around the stunning Kvitåvatn Lake.

Each cabin stands independently, offering a comfortable space with a cosy log interior. Equipped with their own personal sauna, the cabins are ideal for unwinding after a day out on the slopes.

Convenience is not compromised either, with all the essentials within a short 10-15 minute walk from the cabins, including a grocery store, ski school meeting point, and equipment rental shop.

You can also use the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna at the neighbouring Gaustablikk Fjellresort - subject to availability and payable locally.

We LOVED the cabin. It made the holiday and I’m so glad I chose it over the hotel because due to the short days we spent a lot of time there. Coming back at the end of the day was such a joy - great fire, WiFi, comfy beds and excellent kitchen plus smart tv . The sauna was so welcome. Absolutely can’t fault the accommodation.

We stayed in an 8 person cabin, 5 minutes walk from the ski centre. We were also able to ski-in ski-out depending on the snow cover. We had amazing snow conditions for most of our stay over the Christmas holidays.
