All of the staff at the Gaustablikk Fjellresort and across the resort were amazing - friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. The hotel was ideally located with both downhill and cross‑country skiing right on the doorstep. It was very comfortable, and the food (we were on half board) was excellent.

Really lovely laid back hotel with beautiful views. Very spacious and suits families and couples equally well. Great staff and excellent food and service

The breakfasts were the best we have ever had and the dinners were lovely although children’s options a bit limited. The beds were very comfortable but not a lot of storage space for a week long holiday. The floating sauna was a lot of fun.

The hotel was first rate with the hotel staff being very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, although it did lack storage.
The food was excellent, the three course meals were great and being able to swap to one of their other restaurants was an added bonus. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and a great set up for the day.
There was plenty of space to relax in the hotel …

Beautiful, rustic hotel. Excellent food, service was friendly but no bell service- you will carry your bags up and down steps to your room. Easy ski rental and beautiful surroundings. The hotel is family friendly but the pool and hot tub are generally filled with kids.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views across the mountains. The restaurant was superb with a buffet breakfast offering pretty much everything you could want. The evening 3 course set-menu was top class.
Finally, the shuffleboard tables! An absolutely work of art in polished wood and such fun.
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The Hotel was seconds from the ski school and ski hire collection. The location was matched by the excellent Hotel, both with quality restaurant food and facilities. You must try the floating Sauna!
