Family-owned Beito Resort in Beitostølen has a down-to-earth feel. Easy to navigate, the ski area is ideal for building confidence, with dedicated beginner slopes, an English-speaking ski school and wide pistes for cruising.
You've also got plenty of options if the skiing doesn't go to plan, from dog sledding and swimming to rafting down the slopes on inflatable boats. On the edge of Jotunheimen National Park, the setting is beautiful and the scenic cross-country trails are some of Norway’s best - this is a great place to try a new discipline.
The traditional village is one of the most convenient you’ll find. All amenities are within a short stroll from wherever you’re staying, including a lot of restaurants and bars for its size. Our team recommends a night of activities at SPEL, Svingen Pub for a traditional Norwegian experience, and Bryggrihuset for craft beer lovers. Après-ski (or ‘afterski’ as the Norwegians call it) is low-key during the week, but can be surprisingly lively at the weekend with live DJs and bands.
All in all, Beito ski holidays are perfect for first-timers and family ski trips.

What our customers say about Beito Resort.
A fantastic resort for beginners and more experienced skiers aswell. The slopes were not too busy so the chairlift and button lifts were easy to access. A range of bars and restaurants were open towards the end of the week. A couple fo supermarkets to stock up with daily basics.
