A fantastic resort for beginners and more experienced skiers aswell. The slopes were not too busy so the chairlift and button lifts were easy to access. A range of bars and restaurants were open towards the end of the week. A couple fo supermarkets to stock up with daily basics.

Beiostølen itself is a fantastic place for learners and families. The transfer is long, which may not suit all and can reduce flexibility a bit due to fixed transfers. The village itself has a well stocked SPAR, and good sports/ ski shops. We ate at the Italian restaurant at the riddergaarden, which was okay, but expensive. £75 for 1 Childs pizza, 1 adult pizza, 1 pasta arrabiatta, 2 glasses of wine and a hot chocolate. We didn't try any other of the local eateries as we had half board at the Radisson Blu. The lessons, slopes and lifts were all excellent, plenty of snow, and the weather as great, which always helps. The pool & Gym at the Radisson Blu was really good, and after the skiing was our favourite place to spend time. Breakfast at the Raddison Blu was well run and good value, and the evening food was generally good with a good selection, including for kids. The hot chocolate was also really good. The rest of the Radisson Blu experience wasn't a good fit for us, and whilst we have rebooked in Beitostølen, we have opted for alternative accommodation. We also did the dog sledding which was a really great experience, and would definitely recommend.

Bietostolen was everything it was sold as and more. Everything we needed was close by, the resort had lots of different activities available as well as great skiing for beginner and intermediate skiers. Short lifts and good length runs for this level. Tobogganing, dog sledding, horse riding treks and more. Lovely restaurants and 2 supermarkets within walking distance. Perfect for families, we had an amazing holiday here

The hotel was very new and it was very convenient to go back and forth when going skiing and there were many restaurants to choose from.
