Whacky resort hotel. Decor from the 1980s but very large rooms. Fabulous onsen.

Very good. This is a very unusual place trying to be a bit like the big hotels in Las Vegas. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the ski instructors. The Onsen is fantastic.

Comfortable always clean rooms, long walks to get around, always helpful and polite staff and the best breakfast selection ever.

The Rusutsu Resort Hotel complex was a strange place, almost a Japanese version of Center Parks crossed with a bit of Disney. Interesting for 2-3 days, but was quite surreal for a longer stay. Plenty of food options - all of consistently good quality.

Breakfast was fabulous but night time dining options were very limited and pricy with mainly full buffets offered. Good sized rooms with good onsen and ski hire on site.
