Nozawa Onsen is just like a typical alpine village in the Alps. Oh, but it is in the alps, The Japanese Alps. Stunning scenery, great skiing, with the added allure of being volcanic. The sulphurous aroma as you walk around the village hints at the magical events happening underground. Thank you for an absolutely stunning holiday. We enjoyed every minute and now want to return to Japan! Andrea was incredibly helpful - particularly for her local knowledge of Nozawa Onsen. Thanks again!
