Excellent resort. First class skiing. Off piste skiing great. Short or non existent queues for ski lifts. Great views of neighbouring volcano.

Can imagine how good the resort must be when snow conditions are at there best. Sadly it was a 'bad snow' season. Enjoyed it nevertheless.

Despite being a poor season for Japan, there was fresh snow every day, a great variety of runs and great skiing between the trees. The chairlifts without safety bars were a bit scary for those used to safety conscious European facilities. It was quiet and there were no queues for the lifts. The resort was very friendly and a good variety of places to eat.

This our second snowboarding holiday in Niseko, Japan and we absolutely love this place. The snow conditions are awesome, the resort has an abundance of variety with regards to restaurants (raw and/or cooked fish and meats ... my preference is the latter! lol) and some great atmospheric "drinking holes". A place which has it all, amazing terrain, great food and lovely onsen. One of my top two all time resorts alongside Fernie BC.

Very good skiing but covered most of it in 3 days. Very busy in the evenings and difficult to find somewhere to eat outside of the hotel.

Great restaurants and nightlife. Brilliant backcountry skiing and easy to navigate. Lift system needs updating though..big queues on some days.

Great snow, but we were lucky in an otherwise lacklustre season. Very expensive.

Great resort for powder hunters, and enough slopes to keep beginner and intermediate piste skiers happy. Can be expensive if you aren't careful but overall it's a great place!
