A great experience. The travel arrangements went smoothly. Great skiing but we missed out on the famous Niseko powder. We had a day in Rusitsu- would recommend a two centre holiday. Holiday was 10 days- and we were able to ski 9 because the transfers and flights were so good

Resort had good transport links(busses) to the four ski areas, covered by the Niseko United ski pass. Good Gondola/Chair lift links all over. Skiing was generally good all round with mainly Intermediate skiing/snowboarding. The Black runs were challenging enough for Intermediate- good standard. Open wide piste lower down. Off-piste powder access was good for more advanced. Weather conditions higher up can cause visibility difficulties but generally still accessible for all. Sking across all four pistes areas was easily achieved if weather conditions permitted. All in all a proficient good/intermediate skier/snowboarder can do all the pistes in 3-4 days plus some off-piste powder also. Food and drink on the slopes is limited to a few huts only, but main Gondola areas have a good restaurant/bar facilities. Lots of westerners working in the resort to speak english- Aussies, Americans/British and a few European nationalities. Some of the younger Japanese do speak some english but not extensively. Overall very well organised set of ski areas, comparable to the European equivalent.
