Good ski accommodation ace location friendly staff no frills but all we needed

Rooms were a little snug, but that didn’t affect the overall great experience. Friendly and helpful staff and a decent breakfast.

Comfortable rooms with friendly staff and good breakfasts. The Hirafu resort bus stops 30 metres away and crucially, it’s the first stop. By 2nd stop, just down the road, it will be full! Access by foot to the main two lifts (Ace and King) was just too far and steep for our taste so we either caught the bus - or did the 10-12 minute walk to the Family lift which drops you down onto the Ace lift.

This is a modern, simply styled hotel just off the Main Street running through Hirafu resort. I had a decent sized en-suite room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was included with a good selection of hot and cold food. Friendly, helpful staff. There’s no actual residents’ lounge, but there are a few good bars a short walk away. Excellent choice. No thrills but exactly what we wanted. Right in the thick of it. Bars and restaurants. Some bad reviews but everything was excellent. Large rooms with fridge, microwave and kettle. Beds comfortable and breakfast was great. But get down early not to miss out on the hot buffet. The receptionists were friendly and extremely helpful.

A no-frills hotel, but a very comfortable room, with facilities including a microwave (complete with instructions on what setting to use to heat glasses of sake!). Its central position in Hirafu is just 30 yards from the stop for the free shuttle bus - and there are several very good and reasonably-priced places to eat within a few minutes' walk. The hotel has a European rather than Japanese feel …

Great hotel in a good location with very friendly and helpful staff. We had the Yotei suite on third floor, lovey room with traditional toilet in bathroom. The breakfast buffet was also very good.
