Introduction to Ski Touring
With the help of a ski instructor, those new to touring will learn how to put skins on skis and adjust the bindings for uphill and back to downhill. You'll also have an avalanche briefing and be shown how to use all parts of the kit provided. You will practice balance, breaking and basic technique and then improve your skills on the touring skis. The lesson will prepare you for your own tour on one of the trails in the surrounding area.
Guided Ski Touring
If you have skied quite a lot and have some experience of off-piste, you can take one of the longer tours. They provide a perfect combination of wilderness, exercise and excellent skiing. The guided tours run for approximately two hours to the summit “1313” where a pristine run down untouched landscape awaits.
With both options, all kit, including avalanche pack, skins, touring skis and boots are included.
