We booked with Ski safari as searching through the millions of websites for flights accommodation etc seemed mind blowing. We had a bucket list of places we would like to visit and include a weeks skiing and were very impressed with the knowledge of James from Ski Safari. He prepared a package for us including a city break to San Francisco, a weeks skiing in Heavenly, Lake Tahoe, followed by a tour of Nevada and Utah to visit Zion National Park - breathtaking and one of the best places you must visit in a lifetime, followed by a trip to Bryce Canyon finishing with a night in Las Vegas. Everything was planned to perfection. The documents were so organised and received in a timely manner. Any questions we had from booking to our return home were dealt with immediately and with great customer service. The holiday was mind-blowing from beginning to end. Every hotel, every flight, every car rental (we had two different ones) were organised and prepaid. Even the ski passes and ski rental were purchased at a great cost - James knew when the best deal was to be had and advised us accordingly. Every resort was perfect, interesting and the staff in the hotels chosen treated us like royalty. It was the little things that made it special such as the wine and cheese evenings and the tales of Tahoe, which gave us an insight into the area. I even believe James must have organised the fantastic weather we had every single day. This holiday could not be beaten. Ski Safari did a great job, gave us a great holiday at a great price and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

We, all 8 of us, had an amazing holiday the hotel in San Fransico was beautiful, the house in Lakeland, Heavenly was fabulous, warm and cosy. We drove to Las Vegas and arrived at the Bellagio, again, an amazing hotel and after seeing some of the other hotels in LV it is the only one I would stay at in the future. We were given an upgrade on arrival as one of the rooms we had booked was unavailable for some reason. We had fountain views it was great.

If we had our chance to design this ski safari ourselves we would only make it longer. Perhaps an extra day in San Francisco so that we could have taken our time to take more in, still have 10 days skiing around Lake Tahoe (we managed 6 resorts but there a plenty more if you want), and then definitely an extra day or two in Las Vegas at the end (especially if you are staying in The Wynn)!! On the trip from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe we would recommend stopping in Sacramento for lunch as there is some history to the old part of the city. And on the trip from Lake Tahoe to Las Vegas we would definitely take the California route as you can then take in Death Valley, which is a must see. By taking the Nevada route you will miss this out.

We chose what we call a "Tahoe Safari". (Ski Safari organised the bookings as usual) We flew into San Francisco, picked up an AWD Dodge and drove to our base Heavenly. We even stayed in the same Accommodation and room we stayed in before! (Lakeshore Lodge & Spa) The two weeks were spent having a brilliant time skiing the different resorts around Lake Tahoe, including Heavenly, Sierra, Kirkwood, Homewood, Squaw Valley & Northstar. All went according to plan, and we were thoroughly re-charged.... I couldn't wait to get back to work..to start saving for the next one!!!!!!
