A bit of a mixed safari from Lake Louise, Revelstoke, Kicking Horse, Whitefish and Fernie. This was ACE!!! Might not spend so much time at KH if we did it again though. Would strongly recommend Whitefish as an add on to Fernie, for sheer variety of slopes and pretty empty trails, with excellent glade and tree skiing. For a quieter time, the grooming was exemplary, and there are loads of rolling blues. A really great hill, great friendly locals, and fabulous scenery. We'll go back!

Very good combination of resorts. We had six nights in Kicking Horse and seven nights in Revelstoke and I think that was the right duration in each - I think any less and we wouldn't have done each resort justice. We had a day heli-skiing with Selkirk Tangiers; they were very impressive and the day was great, even though it was cut short by the weather (can't complain - it dumped 30cm that afternoon). Also had an afternoon off and went dog sledding in Revelstoke which was brilliant. Great interaction, we got stuck in harnessing the dogs etc. really recommend it.

We hoped that this would be a trip of a lifetime, and it was. Good advice from Andy about how to get the best out of it. The highlight of the trip was heli-skiing with Selkirk Tangiers, a never to be forgotten. Closely followed by discovering Eagles Eye mountain restaurant - they really are the tops. Canada is expensive for extras, tax and tips on top makes the eyes water, but we found the Canadians fantastic hosts.
