Stayed an extra night in Oslo at the Scandi Byporten hotel. It was good. Express train to the airport in the morning was brilliant.

The Oslo Scandic was a really good hotel. A good sized family room and an excellent choice at breakfast. Great location for stepping off the train and dropping off the bags and then for seeing the city centre.

Very very well located. We took a long time to find it initially. A note 'it really *is* inside the shopping centre' would have helped!

The Scandic Byporten in Oslo was really good, the rooms nicely furnished and spacious and the location next to the train station was perfect, especially with kids in tow.

This was probably the only disappointing part of the holiday. They initially couldn't find the second room and then when we got to the family room it was unbelievably cramped. The child had to stand one of the adult beds to get onto the bunk bed. The breakfast pack that we were given as we were leaving so early was also poor.
