Boy did I underestimate the attraction of this to my nephews (33 and 35). I had arranged kayaking from below the Hoover Dam for 12 miles for the first morning starting at 5.45. This was a superb experience and well done. Bedtime was 3.30 am the next morning! Blackjack was their speciality. We once again ate way too much. A trip to see Zumanity at 10 pm where Graeme was dragged on stage to be interviewed and be fawned on by near naked circus performers. Not an average night and another late finish for them, but not me. We walked for miles and took all sorts of transport as well. And so to the final day, with a late start for them, while I booked a helicopter tour of the nearest part of the Grand Canyon for 1.5 hours. What a holiday, or was it two holidays? Back home for rest. Many thanks for your thorough planning and advice.

Have visited Las Vegas for the past 3 years, it's a brilliant place to be. If I could I would go back more than once a year, but it's not to be due to money. You can do it cheap but there are some fantastic places to eat. The House of Lords at the Sahara Hotel is worth every penny - it's a steak place, very nice! The Elvis act is good there as well. We have stayed at the Monte Carlo, The Imperial Palace and last year The Flamingo. All are brilliant, seriously I really do not think you can get a bad hotel on the strip. I think the Imperial was the friendliest hotel and we got an up grade on a normal room - ended up with mirrors every were and a big spar bath in room - luxury! This year we are not going till Xmas and I'm missing it already (normally go late July!) We are staying at the MGM this year. If you haven't been GO and if your like me if you have the money to spare you will have booked again!!!
