Whistler is the ultimate ski resort - it must be on your skiing bucket list! It is a huge area of mixed terrain with something for everyone. The snow conditions have been great (4 out of 4 times) with a mix of fresh powder and sunny days over a 10 day break. The Village is easily accessed from the slopes for easy Apres-ski, and it's a lovely place to wander, before or after eating. The kids loved the ski camps (5 days, same teacher, same class) because they had a lot of fun. This has been their consistent feedback from age 4 to 14. If you're wondering whether its worth the flight - it is!

Purpose built heaven. Everything was on the doorstep. Everyone was lovely and really helpful. We had an awesome time.

Great ski resort, two mountains which are both very easy to access from the village and both have a variety of runs. Whistler itself had lots of shops, bars and restaurants and had a good atmosphere. We loved the fact that the mountains were completely non smoking. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, the customer service was second to none. We also loved the organised lift queue system, everyone so polite and taking turns and help with putting skis onto and off the gondola. We did the Ziptrek Bear tour which was also excellent and great fun. We did miss the mountain restaurants that you get in Europe, we did find one at Whistler, however it was closed for the end of the season (even though it was Easter Monday and quite busy everywhere). The main cafeterias were all very busy, even though the skiing was generally quiet and the lifts for the queues were not bad, especially as it was the Easter holidays. After 1 week we were ready to move on, I am not sure that I would want to spend 2 weeks at Whistler alone.

Whistler is the best! Great mountains. Great lifts. Great lessons. Great restaurants.
